The Arthritis Walk® is the Arthritis Foundation’s annual nationwide event that raises awareness and funds to fight arthritis, the nation’s most common cause of disability. It is a tremendous opportunity to help improve the lives of the 46 million men, women and children doctor-diagnosed with arthritis.
Get your company involved or recruit friends and family members to form a team. Best of all, walk in honor of a loved one with arthritis and know you’re making a difference by raising funds to support Arthritis Foundation research, public health and public policy efforts to improve the lives of people with arthritis.
By registering for the 2009 Arthritis Walk, you are also becoming a part of Let's Move Together®, a nationwide movement led by the Arthritis Foundation. Let's Move Together® encourages people to move to prevent or treat arthritis.
Calling All Canines!
A Dog Walk will be offered this year! We invite dog owners to bring their dogs . . . because dogs get arthritis too! Dogs may walk with their owners for the one mile or three mile walk.

Honor Someone Special!
Would you like to give special recognition to your “hero?” This year participants will have the opportunity to purchase Hero Markers to honor a loved one with arthritis. The Hero Markers will be placed along the walk route and will give all of the 2009 Arthritis Walk participants an opportunity to be inspired by your hero.
Hero Markers are $25. Please contact eholcomb@arthritis.org for more information or to purchase a Hero Marker.
Raise Money, Win Prizes
Register online today! Once you register, you can set up your own personal Web page and begin fund raising. Raise $100 or more and earn an official Arthritis Walk® T-shirt.
Raising $100 guarantees you a t-shirt. However, for ordering purposes, if you do not pre-register we can not guarantee your t-shirt the day of the event. We may have to mail your event t-shirt after the Arthritis Walk.
Participants who raise $200 or more are eligible for other great Arthritis Walk incentive prizes. Set your sights high! Check out the prizes and set your fundraising goal today!
